SOLAR ONE is an exciting initiative by the Scottish Solar Energy Group.

A van equipped with solar energy equipment which makes it entirely autonomous in energy; all the electricity and heat used on board the vehicle to make it a viable living space and workplace comes from the sun or wind. The vehicle is propelled by bio-diesel.

Its purpose is to demonstrate that solar energy works surprisingly well in Scotland.
